With Begaa Tours Morocco to explore Fez, Sahara in Erg Chebbi and Marrakech with following program :
Arrival at Casablanca International Airport, where we will meet you and drive to Casablanca and Rabat, capital of Morocco. In Casablanca, see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside of Mecca and experience the seaside coastal Cornwall. Then we will leave to Rabat. Here you will see the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah Oudayas before between your Riad in the medina. Overnight at Riad or Hotel.
After breakfast in your riad, you can start traveling to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. A Meknes, other important imperial city in Morocco, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani “Basin”, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your tour continues to the Roman city of Volubilis, where you have the chance to see the original mosaics wonderfully preserved Roman road and city map. As you travel through the Moroccan countryside we will go through the holy city of Moulay Idriss for a photo shoot. We continue to Fes, after visiting Moulay Driss Zerhoun, late afternoon and check into your riad in the medina.
Breakfast in your riad, then begin a tour of the Medina where you will visit the many hidden that only the locals know the place of treasures. Fes was the capital of Morocco for over 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest university in the world. Your tour will take you to Moulay Idriss mausoleum, Fountains Najjarine and Tanneries. After lunch, you can also see outside the Royal Palace and walk through the famous Jewish Quarter “Mellah”, where you have the opportunity to visit one of the few synagogues life in Morocco. Your visit Fez includes a short visit to the famous pottery factory, then you can enjoy a panoramic view of the medina of Fez
After breakfast in your Riad , we travel south – east along the caravan route to Merzouga. During this trip you will experience an overview of the Middle Atlas and upper Atlas Mountains . Stop at the cedar forest , the largest in Morocco , on the Middle Atlas Mountains , where you can see the Barbarian monkeys. after lunch in Midelt, traveling towards Merzouga you will notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of desert as you approach the city Errachidia. Your journey continues along the Ziz Valley and lush palm oasis of Tafilalet, famous for the cultivation of dates . This area is the foundation of the Alawite dynasty – the current royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga late afternoon, here you will welcome with a glass of mint tea before spending the night in a Riad.
After breakfast in the riad you will begin a tour of the region. Visit the Gnawa people – originally slaves brought from Sudan and live the experience of their music and lifestyle. Not far away, there is the lake of Merzouga, known for its diversity of birds. You can also visit the souk in Rissani Tafilalte, a traditional town which is at the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of caravans from Timbuktu in Mali. Here you will see a lot of masked men and veiled women. Back to the village of Merzouga to start the camel trek by an experienced camel guide; explore the sea of sand of Merzouga. Night at our camp in the desert where you will have your dinner. The camp is fully equipped and enjoy a delicious Tagine and music and song by the Berber people.
Early in the morning wake up to watch what may well may be the best sunrise of your life. you ride the camels back to your hotel where you shower and have breakfast in Merzouga. En route, you might not miss to enjoy the unique and spectacular beauty of sand dunes “Chebbi” and its changing light. After breakfast, we drive to Tinerhir and Todra Gorges – the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch at the heart of the gorge we drive through the Dades Valley, where you will see the majestic castles and amazing rock formations.
After breakfast we drive through the Dades Valley to Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing many opportunities to take photos . We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna “Pink City”, to buy rose water, which will make your clothes smell long after your return. Continue to Marrakech via the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Built by El Glaoui And Hami, one of the last Berber leaders during the 18th century, after the visit of the Ksabah your journey continues through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.
After breakfast, you can enjoy a guided morning tour of Marrakech “the Red city of Morocco.” Your guide will ensure you see all the sites with historical values and cultural interest, including Menaret Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Koranic school. Through the streets – get a chance to see all the different craftsmen of the medina performing their jobs before arriving at the famous Djamaa El Fna. Lunch in a restaurant near the place, and then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle gardens, and a small tower Gueliz – the new town of Marrakech. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to walk through the place entertained by magicians, storytellers, their teeth and food vendors.
After breakfast in your riad, you can begin to travel to the coastal city of Essaouira. Visit the fortress Skala, see cedar carved by artisans walk through the streets of the medina and view hundreds of crafts. The “Windy City” attracts surfers from around the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation , which affects a large part of its architecture, however it still remains a small town with lots of history. Because of its size and its blue door features and washed walls, it is also considered Morocco’s city “Jewel of the Atlantic.” You can also visit the women’s cooperatives for Argan oil. Here they extract oil which is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medicinal purposes. You can have fresh fish along the sea front in a typical Moroccan restaurant, then wander around the Medina.
After breakfast we will take you to the Casablanca -
