Our private Morocco 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Sahara desert starts with a pick-up from Tangier. Today, we will drive to Fes to enjoy the beautiful views of the Rif mountains and the blue city. Here, there are many things to explore. For instance, we will visit the first building in the Medina, a kasbah museum where there are photos and info about the city.
Moreover, we will walk through the blue and white streets to the Ras El Ma waterfalls. Overall, we will ensure that you have wonderful sightseeing of the whole medina and admire its blue building take photos. After lunch, we will drive toward Fes to spend our first night in the Medina.
Our four-days tour Tangier to Marrakech desert tour will continue toward the Sahara desert, the highlight of all Morocco tours. Today, we have a long drive from Fes to Merzouga. However, we will explore all the desert attractions. Therefore, the first stop will be at Ifran, often called Little Switzerland. There, we will have a break for a coffee and visit the atlas of lions carved in a rock.
Our next stop is the cedar forest in Azrou. Here, we will explore the forest and see the wild monkeys. We can feed them, take photos, and leave the forest through the Middle Atlas mountains. Lunch will be at Midelt. Then, we continue our way to Merzouga, crossing the High Atlas and enjoying the stunning Ziz Valley.
In Merzouga, a professional camel man will take you through the Erg Chebbi dunes to enjoy the Sahara desert’s infinity landscape and see the sunset. After dinner, we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.
Our desert tour continues by waking up early for a stunning sunrise. After breakfast and showering, we will head to Dades Valley. First, we will pass by Erfoud. If you are interested, we will visit one of the fossil factories. We will have our next stop from Erfoud, an old traditional irrigation system.
After that, we will drive to Todra Gorges, the Grand Canyon of Morocco. Here, we will walk near the river passing through the Atlas mountains. After lunch in Todra Valley, we will head to Dades Valley to spend our third night in a local hotel.
We’ll start our last day of this 4-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Sahara desert by driving through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. To start, we will take our first break at the edge of Rose Valley to visit one of the cooperatives that make rose flower products.
