On the first day of our 7-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech, we will meet you at the airport and then drive to your hotel in Medina. After that, we will start sightseeing in the ancient capital of Fes with a local guide who will accompany you for the rest of the day. You will first visit the royal palace gate and walk through the Jewish quarter. Then, we will drive to the Southern Tower for a fantastic panoramic view of Medina.
Thereafter, your local guide will take you for a walk to explore Medina’s best-visited sites, including the Chouara Tannery, the oldest Al Qarawiyyin University, and the Blue Gate. Overnight in a traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina.
After breakfast, we leave Fes for Erg Chebbi Dunes. We then depart for the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be the charming town of Ifrane, also called the little Switzerland of Morocco.
