5 Days Tour from Tangier to Merzouga

During the first day of 5 days desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech. Our guide will pick you up then you travel to Chefchaouen through the Rif mountains to enjoy the stunning villages and beautiful views. Chefchaouen is mostly called the "blue pearl" or the instagrammable photography destination.

Firstly, we will check into the hotel. Then, we will start touring the medina within its blue and whitewashed streets enjoying the blue walls, doors, and windows. In Chefchaouen Medina, there are chances to take amazing photos in every corner.

Thereafter, we will visit the ancient Kasbah in the heart of the Medina and drink a cup of mint tea in Outa Hammam plaza. Also, we will walk to the famous Ras El Ma waterfall. Lately, you will have a free afternoon to taste a delicious meal and spend the night in the Riad.

On the second day, will continue toward the cultural city of Fes. When we arrive in Fes you will be accompanied by a local guide to discover the first imperial city. Therefore, we will start our Fes tour by visiting the Royal Palace, walking through the Jewish quarter.

Also, we will drive to the Southern Tower to view the whole Medina and visit the ceramic poetry. Moreover, you will walk inside the Medina to discover the historical monument including the famous Al Qaraouin University and the Tannery. overnight in a riad/hotel.

The journey to the Sahara desert starts after breakfast from your riad. Therefore, you will stop at Ifran for a break to visit the carved status of a lion. Then, we continue our way to Azrou and stop at the cedar forest to see the apes. Continuing to Midelt for lunch. After that, we will travel through the Tizi N'Talghamt pass to Errachidia city. Our next stop is at Ziz valley.

The tour will continue to the Sahara desert via Erfoud, famous for fossils and dates. In Merzouga, the beautiful lands of the Sahara desert, you will be welcomed by a mint tea. After that, you start a great adventure including camel trekking across the golden-colored dunes to the desert camp.

Stop on the way to take amazing and memorable sunset photos. Dinner and overnight will be in a camp, listen to traditional live music around the fire.

You will start this amazing day by waking up early morning to watch the sunrise. After breakfast and shower return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga village. Thereafter, we will continue our 5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech by visiting the local market of Rissani.

We will walk around this famous, traditional, and biggest market in the area. Later, we travel to Tinghir along with the Tafilalt Oasis where we can stop to see the ancient system of irrigation.

The next stop will be at Tinjdad for lunch. After that, we continue to Tinghir to explore stunning views of Todra valley and walk along the river in Todra gorges. Here, It's a preferred place for rock climbers. We will end our day in Bomalen Dades.

After breakfast in Dades valley, the 5 days tour from Tangier continues to Marrakech. Today, we will travel to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Firstly, we pass through the Rose valley and the Road of Thousands Kasbahs, we will stop in Ouarzazate famed as the "Hollywood of Morocco", where will take some photos of the Taourirte Kabah.

Then, continue to the next destination to visit the famous historical kasbah of ait Ben Haddou. This fortified ksar was once used as the commercial point for the camel caravans between Marrakech and the Sahara desert. Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah has appeared in several movies, including The Mummy, the Lawrence of Arabia.

After visiting the Kasbah, we will have lunch in the same village. Thereafter, we will cross the High Atlas mountains toward Marrakech, on the road we stop to enjoy the stunning views of the Atlas and Tichka Pass 2260 m. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech where our 5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech ends.
