On the first day of our 7 days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech, we will meet you at the airport and then drive to your hotel in Medina. After that, we will start our sightseeing of the ancient capital of Fes with a local guide who will accompany you for the rest of the day. Firstly, you start by visiting the royal palace gate then walk through the Jewish quarter, and we will drive to the Southern Tower for an amazing panoramic view of the Medina.
Thereafter, your local guide will take you for a walk to explore inside the medina with all its best-visited sites including the Chouara Tannery and the oldest Al Qarawiyyin University as well as the Blue Gate. Overnight in traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina.

The 7-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech continues toward the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, we leave Fes to Erg Chebbi Dunes. Therefore, we depart to the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be the charming town of Ifrane, also called the little Switzerland of Morocco.
Then we stop at the cedar forests to see the wild monkeys. After that, we drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains until we reach Midelt for lunch.
Furthermore, we will cross the High Atlas to Errachidia. Here, we realize the palm trees appear. Later on, we reach Erfoud, the economic capital of the Tafilalet region where the fossilized marble is made. After 1 hour we will reach Merzouga desert as you will greeted with a glass of mint tea and show your room in a local hotel.

Today is the best day of the 7-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. After breakfast in your hotel, we will explore Erg Chebbi more deeply on the Sahara desert tour. To start with by visiting the nomad families on the edge of the Sahara desert to learn more about their lifestyle, then we drive to Khamlia Village to listen to Gnawa music and have a special Berber Pizza at the same village.
After lunch, our desert tour driver will drive you to the hotel to be prepared for the camel ride. Later on, a camel guide will accompany you to cross the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and stop on the way for sunset photos, upon your arrival at the camp you will be welcomed with a cup of tea and they will show you your private tent.
After dinner, you gathered around the campfire to listen to local songs and see the starry sky, dinner, and breakfast at the luxury desert camp.

Early morning, you will be woken up for sunrise photos. After breakfast and shower in your desert camp, you ride the camel back to the meeting point, then we drive toward Rissani for a small walk around its authentic weekly market.
So we continue our 7 days tour from Fes to Marrakech through a semi-desert landscape, we reach the oasis of Tinghir – possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco.
Then we pass the Todra River and have a walk in the Todra Gorges, a famous destination for rock climbers. By reaching Dades Valley you will see different rock formations often referred to as the monkey toes.

After breakfast, we take the road towards Ait Ben Haddou throughout the valley of thousands of Kasbahs and Ouarzazate. Here, we stop to see the film studios. Later on, we reach 18th century Ait Benhaddou kasbah for lunch and visit this fortified village, known for its cinematic activities and home to many famous movies including the Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and some American movies.
Thereafter, we cross the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech the historic city of the South, on the way we will stop at the Tichka Pass “2260m” and another stop for a break. Moreover, if you are interested we may stop to have a general idea in women’s cooperatives to learn of the Argan oil production. Overnight in a traditional Riad in the Medina.

Today will be a half-day exploring the cultural city of Marrakech and its best attractions. A local guide will take you to discover the historical monuments and most popular visited sites of the Red City. Hence, you start by visiting the Bahia Palace, the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, and the iconic Jemaa El-Fna Square.
Moreover, you explore Marrakech’s crowded souk’s “biggest Markets”. After lunch, we will drive to the fascinating Majorelle Gardens. Free afternoon in Marrakech which used to be the capital city of Morocco in the eleventh century. The most amazing 7 days tour from Fes to Marrakesh Desert!
I do not even know where to begin with how amazing this tour was! I emailed Begaa Tours for a Sahara desert tour quote and made a few adjustments to include a city that I really wanted to go to and an airport change and they were totally accommodating. We flew into Fes airport and spent 7 desert day itinerary with our guide Ahmed driving around and sightseeing. Highlight beautiful cities: Fes, Ifran City with its alpine-style houses, The Cedar Forest, Midelt, Ziz Valley, Merzouga Desert, colorful souks, King Hassan II mosque, blue streets, blue city, Hassan tower, Todra Gorges, Dads Valley, beautiful town of Ouarzazate, Atlas Corporation studios, High Atlas and ended in Marrakech. We spent the night in the desert and friendly camel trekking to get out to our beautiful tents, we dressed in traditional clothing, stayed in the most amazing riads, had a private guide everywhere we stopped, and were really on our own schedule since we had a driver. I am shocked at the Moroccan landscapes and the amount of things we saw, ate, did, and experienced. I am fortunate to have traveled a lot in my life and this goes to the top of my list of most memorable, magical, and unique trips I have ever taken. Every email was answered and their communication was outstanding. Out of all the trips I have taken I will always recommend this to my friends who ask where they should go and how they should go about it. 7-day Sahara desert tour of Fes to Marrakech and Glamping in the desert
We are a group of 6 friends from the United States and we took a customized and tailor-made tour of Morocco beginning from airport pick up to airport drop off. Hassan, the organizer was able to accommodate our personalized tour schedule with ease. He was super communicative and flexible with our schedule despite our flight times getting a bit mixed up. We started the trip with a tour of Fes going through the Middle Atlas mountains to the Merzouga Desert and ended in Marrakech. Our tour of Fes was amazing. We had a wonderful guide who showed us the cultural city of Fes el Bali, with the main highlights. I would like to give a big shoutout to Ahmed who drove us through the Middle Atlas mountains to Merzouga and dropped us off at the luxury desert camp. He then picked us up and took us to Marrakech. he is an amazing guide and super friendly and informative. It was wonderful to have their guidance through the country and we wouldn’t know what to do without him! We had so much fun and loved every moment of the tour! The sunset camel trek in the Merzouga desert and the glamping experience at the luxury desert campare a must-do! It cannot be missed! Our tour guide in Marrakech (Mohamed) was also super scholarly, knowledgeable, and wonderful!
