  1. Thea Reginner

Outstanding Moroccan experience 4 day desert from Fes to Marrakech tours
My husband and I booked a 4 days trip from Fes to Marrakech with Begaa tours. On the first day, our driver and guide Ahmed picked us up at our Riad in Fes. On that day we drove all the way to Merzouga. We stopped at a lot of interesting places on our way and Ahmed had a lot of knowledge about all of them. We spent the first night in a guest house in Merzouga.
On the second day, we had a day trip around the Merzouga desert the area where we saw for example the palm grove of people living in Merzouga, drove across the golden dunes, had tea in a Berber tent, went to Nomad people, ate a Berber pizza (very good). I would recommend not only staying one night in the desert but staying another night, you’ll get to see so much more. Later that day we returned to another hotel in Merzouga Village from where the camel ride to the desert camp started. We had proper bathroom facilities there and even electric lights in the tents with a tasty Moroccan dinner. Ali is our camel guide, he was friendly!
The next day we woke up at 7 a.m. to see the sun rise over the dunes (an outstanding experience and a must when you are in Morocco) and had a camel ride back to the hostel where we could use the showers and had breakfast. On the Third day, We drove toward Boumalne Dades. Again, we stopped at several spots along the way (such as Todgha Gorge).
On the last day (the way to Marrakech) we went to see the film studios of Ouarzazate (lots of famous movies were shot here) and to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is also a set for many popular and famous movies such as ‘Gladiator’ and series like Game of Thrones. Later we crossed the Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech, Ahmed dropped us at our hotel.
There might be cheaper ways to get to all these destinations than with Begaa tours, but keep in mind that Begaa Tours offers a lot more than simply a car and a driver. Ahmed, for example, speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable about Morocco in general and the desert in area in specific (he is originally from that area, we even had the chance to stop at his house and have tea with his family 😉 ). He made clear from the start that we could ask him any questions and so we did not only learn a lot about Morocco, but also could ask him quite some personal stuff. Therefore, I really had the impression I had a good idea about Moroccan people. In addition to that Ahmed was a very safe driver, the car was pretty comfortable and in good condition and all the accommodations were of a very high standard.
To sum it up, I really recommend booking with Begaa Tours, you won’t regret

Excellent arrangement for 4-day Fes to Marrakech
We joined Begaa Tours for a 4-day private tour from Fes to Marrakech with a deep Morocco itinerary in early April 2024. The BegaaTours Morocco tour agency provided us with a good driver/guide Ahmed Prado Tx air-conditioned 4WD Vehicle, who can speak English very well. This private tour made us explore many new things and have a wonderful memory.
On the first day, Ahmed picked us up at Fes Riad. Luckily, during this 4-day trip, the weather is very good. In fact, April is a great time to visit Morocco, the temperature is around 20, and gentle breeze.
Ahmed provided us with an excellent service. He can use fluent English to communicate with us. He is very familiar with Morocco’s culture and willing to share it with us. Also, he always spotlighted some famous traveling spots to us and dropped us to take beautiful photos well.
In the middle of the desert, Ahmed introduced one nomad people to us and let us know more about the nomadic lifestyle with their herds of goats. He also brought us to visit a Berber village, what an incredible journey!
While going ahead to the deep desert, “offroad” is another wonderful experience for us. At this moment, it is no problem for Ahmed since his driving skills are excellent. Even camel trek was enjoyable. In the evening, there was a sudden sandstorm, but there was no wind inside the camp tent. It was so warm that we slept very well, dinner & breakfast.
In addition, Ahmed led us to the Boumalne dades Valley Todra gorges through many Berber villages and picturesque river valleys, we saw the mountain roads of Tissadrin and spent the night in Dads valley with dinner & breakfast.
On the 4th day of our 4-day desert tour, Ahmed drove us to Marrakech through the Atlas mountains. As Marrakech is a famous imperial city, Ahmed called the Riad to pick up us. Wow, what a considerate Ahmed is!
To sum up, Begaa Tours is deserving of the highest recommendation to travelers for having good, safe, and reliable team-mates and excellent desert morocco adventure services. Thank you again and making us have a great incredible experience.

Amazing 4-day Fes desert tour, Unforgettable experience!
We went on the 4 day private desert tour from Fes to Marrakech desert tour with Begaahtours. It was a wonderful experience. We were taken around by Ahmed. He was a very warm, helpful, and friendly guide to us for all 4 days Fes to the Marrakech desert tour. With his private Vehicle,He knew the places well. As we are vegetarians, though difficult in Morocco we were catered to properly as well throughout the trip. The desert experience in the tents was amazing. I want to give a shout-out to Aziz who took care of us during that stay. He is a very joyous person who went above and beyond to make us fall in love with the desert. The stays during our tour were all classic and beyond our expectations.
The nomadic family we met on the trip was extremely nice and made us feel very comfortable.
On this 4-day Fes desert tour we have seen many famous kasbah of Ait Benhaddou a UNESCO World Heritage site where many famous films are taken.
Frankly, there was not a thing to even remotely complain about during our trip. Ahmed made sure we met all the nice people during this 4- days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech through the Mountain pass of Ticka, we left Morocco with a smile and a hearty wish to return.
